Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Meridian when you use the platform.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Meridian. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

This is a template. Have it reviewed by a lawyer qualified in your operating jurisdiction before you rely on it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You must not be resident in a restricted jurisdiction or appear on an applicable sanctions list.

3. Verification

We are required to verify your identity before you can trade. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if it changes. Providing false information may result in your account being restricted.

4. Orders and escrow

Prices and fees are fixed at order creation. You must only mark an order as paid after the payment has genuinely been sent. Payments must be made from an account in your own name.

5. Prohibited use

You must not use Meridian for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, or any activity unlawful in your jurisdiction.

6. Risk

Digital assets are volatile and trading carries risk, including total loss. You are responsible for your own decisions.

7. Restriction and termination

We may restrict, freeze or close an account where required by law, where we reasonably suspect fraud, or where these terms are breached.

Risk

Trading digital assets carries risk, including the risk of losing the full value of your funds. Escrow reduces one specific risk — a seller taking your payment and disappearing. It does not remove market, issuer, regulatory or payment-network risk, and there is no deposit insurance for crypto in Pakistan. Read the full risk disclosure.
